Teams named for Aaron Barnes Testimonial Match

The teams for the Aaron Barnes Testimonial Match have been named, and feature such cricketing luminaries as Black Caps' stars Chris Cairns, Lou Vincent, Andre Adams, Kyle Mills and Chris Harris, Canadian World Cup batsman Ian Billcliff, and past masters Mark Greatbatch, Ian Smith, Martin Crowe and Danny Morrison.

Barnes is also joined by former dual internationals Matthew Ridge and Jeff Wilson and a smorgasbord of his peers from the successful State Auckland Aces and Cornwall club cricket sides.

The match will be played in the Cricket Max format, and starts at Cornwall Park on Sunday, March 30 at 12 noon.

The Testimonial Match will be followed by a star-studded Testimonial Evening in the West Stand at Eden Park, starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are still available for this function, which is hosted by Danny Morrison and Jeff Wilson, and Howard Morrison and his band performing live.
