Continuing where he left off on Day One, Hyderabad opener Nand Kishore
scored 214, further tormenting Karnaka's bowlers on Day Two of their
Ranji Trophy league match at Secunderabad.
Although his partner Daniel Manohar fell early in the day, Nand
Kishore put up significant partnerships with Anirudh Singh and Arjun
Yadav before finally falling with the score on 425. He made his 214
off 407 balls, hitting 35 fours and spending more than nine hours at
the crease.
Yadav himself went on to make 89 before falling as the last wicket.
Replying to their rivals' mammoth 577, Karnataka openers played out
four overs before the close of play, knowing that they could never
hope to win this match and would even struggle to draw it.
