Johmari Logtenberg has become the first player to score 1000 runs in South Africa's Women's Provincial League. She passed the milestone three days before her 17th birthday.
Logtenberg has now scored 1057 runs in 19 innings for Kwa-Zulu Natal, with 13 not outs, giving her a staggering average of 176.16. She is yet to be dismissed in eight innings this season, scoring 431 runs with one century and four fifties. This follows a successful domestic season last year, where she was out only twice in six innings: she hit 414 runs at an average of 207.
This means that, putting the past two seasons together, she has scored 845 runs at an average of 422.50.
But even if she had been dismissed in all 14 innings, she would still average 60.35.
