Cricket Australia comment on Wilson Perth case

Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer James Sutherland has praised the prompt action taken by officials following a Code of Behaviour breach by West Australian fast-bowler Paul Wilson.

"The process followed in Perth has reinforced the importance of cricket being played according to the requirements of the spirit of the game," he said.

Wilson was fined 50 per cent of his match fee after being found guilty of using abusive language in the current Pura Cup match between the West Australian Warriors and the South Australian Redbacks in Perth.
