Auckland stalwart Aaron Barnes is set to play his 100th one-day game against first-class opposition at North Harbour Stadium's inaugural State Shield match tomorrow.
Barnes made his debut for Auckland in 1993/94 and has 95 one-day games for the State Auckland Aces under his belt, as well as two for the Northern Conference side and two for New Zealand A.
The only change to the State Auckland Aces XII which beat the State Central Stags in New Plymouth on Sunday is the return of dynamic all-rounder Andre Adams from the Black Caps.
Mark Richardson drops out of the squad for the game.
The team is:
Brooke Walker (captain, Howick Pakuranga)
Andre Adams (Grafton United)
Aaron Barnes (Cornwall)
Tama Canning (Suburbs New Lynn)
Heath Davis (Cornwall)
Matt Horne (Grafton United)
Llorne Howell (East Coast Bays)
Tim McIntosh (Parnell)
Kyle Mills (Howick Pakuranga)
Rob Nicol (Cornwall)
Craig Pryor (Grafton United)
Lou Vincent (Grafton United)
Play commences in the round eight State Shield game at North Harbour Stadium's Outer Oval at 12 noon.
