Counties back ECB on 2001 budget (Thu 14 Dec 2000)
The First Class Forum today gave approval by overwhelming majority to the ECB budget for 2001. There will be a 5% increase in payments to the First Class Counties for 2001, meaning each county will receive in the region of £1.275m. [More]

Vodafone Extends England Team Sponsorship (Mon 11 Dec 2000)
Vodafone today announced that it is to extend its association with the England and Wales Cricket Board until the end of the 2005 English season. The new contract comes into effect on 1 October 2001 and will be worth a minimum of £12 million with additional substantial bonuses available for success in Test matches and One Day Internationals.
